The Tiffany Lucida™ diamond is similar to the Asscher cut and the antique cushion cuts. Termed a modern classic by Tiffany, the Lucida is a square mixed-cut diamond. It has 50 facets, a high crown, stepped facets, wide corners, a small table facet, with a deep pavilion. A special setting is made to show-case the Lucida cut.

The Lucida diamond is designed for high weight retention. This means you can get a 1 carat diamond from the rough that would yield a 0.8 carat ideal round brilliant cut diamond otherwise.

Because of the steep crown and deep pavilion the Lucida diamond looks smaller than a round brilliant diamond of the same weight.
