Radiant Diamonds

Radiant cut diamonds are a cross between a princess cut and an emerald cut. Radiant diamonds combine the best features of the round brilliant cut, the square shape of the princess or square baguette cut, and the mitered corners of the emerald cut. The Radiant cut was designed and patented by Henry Grossbard of New York.

Like the princess cut, it is normally used for near-square diamonds rather than rectangular diamonds.

Radiant diamonds typically have 70 facets. Generally, their steeper crown angle and smaller table facet allow them to display more fire than a princess cut diamond.
