Chrysoberyl
All chrysoberyls are hard gemstones, the transparent varieties occuring in yellow, brown, green, and, rarely, blue shades. The chrysoberyl includes alexandrite and cymophane, also known as cat's eye.
Cymophane is usually yellow or green. Dense fibers in the gemstone produce a sharp band of light that form the cats eye effect. The most valuable cat's eyes have a brownish-yellow color, and fine gems weighing more than a few carats can sell for several thousand dollars per carat.
Chrysoberyl jewelry makes a great birthday or holiday gift for your loved one. Check out some of the links below if you may be interested in buying chrysoberyl gems or jewelry
