Tiger's Eye
Tigers eye is an opaque form of included quartz that when polished is streaked by thin bands of light. These bands of light are a result of the presence of compact fibers of quartz that have replaced asbestos.
Tigerseye gemstones are usually brown or brown-yellow to a blue or blue-green hue. Heat-treated yellow-brown tiger eyes may take on a red color due to oxidation of iron present inside the gemstone.
Tigerseye may also be bleached in hydrochloric acid and then dyed red, yellow, blue, gray, or green. These colors are attractive but do not occur in nature.
Tigerseye jewelry makes a great birthday or holiday gift for your loved one. Check out some of the links below if you may be interested in buying tigerseye jewelry
