Clean sterling silver with a mild soap and water solution, allowing the water to bead up. Then pat dry with a soft cloth. For more stubborn dirt, use a jewelry cleaner designed for silver use.

Air and light causes silver to tarnish and oxidize. Do not store silver jewelry exposed. Chlorine and household products and chemicals will contribute to tarnishing silver as well.
